Across the rural region of Sour, Patti Bharpoor, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, many students faced challenges in accessing quality academic coaching and structured learning support. The absence of nearby coaching facilities restricted their ability to strengthen subject knowledge, prepare for competitive examinations, and achieve their academic and career aspirations.

To improve access to quality education, Samoon Foundation established SECC-01 (Samoon Excellence Coaching Centre-01) in Sour, Patti Bharpoor, Tehri Garhwal, which was inaugurated on 10 March 2024. Under the guidance of Centre Trainer Mr. Vijendra Kumar and Programme Coordinator Mr. Dhirendra Rawat, the centre provided structured academic coaching, personalized guidance, and continuous learning support. Through interactive teaching methods, regular assessments, and student-focused mentoring, the programme enabled learners to strengthen their academic foundation, improve their confidence, and prepare for higher education and competitive examinations. The training programme was successfully completed on 22 September 2024, marking another meaningful initiative in Samoon Foundation’s mission to promote educational excellence.

The programme successfully benefited 30 students, providing them with quality academic guidance, improved subject knowledge, and effective learning strategies. Students developed stronger conceptual understanding, increased confidence, and better preparation for examinations, enabling them to perform more effectively in their educational journey and pursue future educational opportunities.

With the successful completion of SECC-01, Samoon Foundation concluded another impactful initiative dedicated to promoting academic excellence and educational empowerment in rural Tehri Garhwal. By providing quality coaching and learner-focused guidance, the programme enabled 30 students to strengthen their academic foundation, enhance their confidence, and prepare for higher education and future career aspirations. The initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to expanding access to quality education in underserved communities.
