In its ongoing dedication to community upliftment, Samoon Foundation has initiated a transformative project in Village Khawara (Vinakkhal), Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The Swing Centre, dedicated to women’s empowerment and skill development, commenced operations on December 10, 2023, and is currently in progress, with an expected completion date in the near future. This endeavor highlights the foundation’s unwavering commitment to holistic development by prioritizing the empowerment of women and recognizing their pivotal role in community growth.

The Swing Centre’s objective is to train over 40 beneficiaries, offering them a platform to acquire essential swing skills that enhance their socio-economic standing. Led by the dedicated Centre Trainer, Mamta Rawat, and guided by Program Coordinator Vikram Shah, the project signifies a collaborative effort to impart knowledge and instill confidence in participants. The active involvement of Gram Pradhan Kuldeep Singh Rawat underscores the local community’s endorsement and support for this initiative, emphasizing the significance of grassroots engagement in the project’s success.
