March 23, 2023, marked a significant milestone as Samoon Foundation successfully concluded its transformative Swing Training Center in Godadhar, Akhori (Ghansali), Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Commencing operations on August 14, 2022, this initiative, dedicated to the memory of Late Shri Indramani Badoni Ji, empowered 40 women and girls, fostering skills essential for their socio-economic advancement.
Samoon Foundation, with its enduring commitment to the empowerment of women and fostering self-reliance, facilitated this initiative. Under the guidance of Centre Trainer Monika Semwal and Program Coordinator Vikram Shah, the center not only imparted valuable skills but also instilled a sense of empowerment among the participants. The active involvement of Gram Pradhan Anita Devi underscored the local community’s endorsement and support, emphasizing grassroots engagement in the project’s success.
The Swing Training Center stands as a testament to Samoon Foundation’s holistic approach to community development.
