In honor of Martyr Kunwar Singh Bhandari, the Swing Training Center operated by Samoon Foundation in Lwah Gaon, Chamoli, Uttarakhand, concluded its transformative journey on September 30, 2023. This center, established on February 7, 2021, served as a poignant tribute to a local hero, providing essential swing skills to 40 women and girls who were the proud beneficiaries of its empowering programs.

Samoon Foundation, with its unwavering commitment towards the empowerment of women and making them self-reliant, facilitated this initiative. Under the guidance of Centre Trainer Sangeeta and Program Coordinator Beena Bisht, the Swing Training Center became a beacon of learning and empowerment, fostering a sense of community resilience among its participants. The active involvement of Gram Pradhan Sashi Pundir highlighted strong local endorsement and support, underscoring the importance of grassroots engagement in the project’s success.

As this chapter concludes, the Swing Training Center stands as a testament to Samoon Foundation’s commitment to holistic community development.
