The primary objective of Samoon Foundation is to empower youth from remote and rural areas of Uttarakhand through digital education and computer literacy, enabling them to become self-reliant. Taking this vision forward, the Samoon Computer Training Institute (SCTI 06) was successfully inaugurated on 2nd August 2026 at Jagdigaad, Bhilangana, Tehri Garhwal.
This prestigious event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Rajeev Kandari (Block Pramukh Bhilangana & President of the State Block Pramukh Organization), alongside distinguished guests Mr. Fateh Singh Rana, Captain Kedar Malgya (Retd.), Mr. Kunwar Singh Negi (Retd.), Mr. Purushottam (Kshetra Panchayat Member), Mr. Anuj Shah, and several respected public representatives and senior citizens. All guests were warmly welcomed with floral garlands, shawls, and mementos.
During his address, Mr. Rajeev Kandari emphasized the importance of computer education in today’s digital era and appreciated the foundation’s role in shaping a better future for rural youth. Mr. Vikram Ghanata (District Panchayat Member), whose valuable support made this center possible, expressed his gratitude to Samoon Foundation, calling the center a golden opportunity for local youth.
The center will go beyond basic computer education by equipping youth with digital skills, technical knowledge, and access to employment opportunities. On behalf of the organization, representative Mr. Vikram Shah also shared insights about Samoon Foundation’s ongoing work in environment, health, education, and skill development.
With enthusiastic participation from local residents, women, and youth, the event concluded with the formal inauguration of the center by the Chief Guest.
This center opens new doors of opportunity for the youth of rural Uttarakhand. We sincerely thank everyone for their support, trust, and encouragement as we work together to strengthen the mission of Digital Uttarakhand.
